Wearables and Assistive Living
Wearable sensors and smart devices that support independent living through continuous, unobtrusive monitoring.

Wearable sensors, smartwatches and smartphones can monitor movement and vital signs continuously and unobtrusively. We build assistive living systems that turn these signals into alerts, dashboards and services for older adults, patients and their carers.
Our platforms process inertial and physiological data in real time, trigger predefined actions such as SMS, email or cloud notifications, and integrate IoT wearables into telemonitoring services. Recent work extends this to gait analysis after stroke and to stress and wellbeing monitoring in higher education.
