CrowdHEALTH

CrowdHEALTH is an international research project, partially funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme, that integrates high volumes of heterogeneous health data from multiple sources to support policy-making decisions.

Today’s digital environment offers a multitude of data sources and extremely large amounts of medical data. These data, however, are heterogeneous and spread across healthcare providers and systems that operate independently, so important health-related events are often missed.

CrowdHEALTH delivers a secure ICT platform that collects and aggregates high volumes of health data from multiple information sources in Europe. It also proposes the evolution of personal health records (PHRs) towards Holistic Health Records (HHRs), enriched into “Social HHRs” that capture clinical, social and human factors.
