AI4WORK

AI4Work investigates practical methods and tools for sharing work optimally between humans and AI systems or robots. Because modern organisations — in industry, but also in healthcare, education and agriculture — face high levels of uncertainty, they need the right balance between human and machine activities, for example in decision making.

The key assumption is that, to cope with the required flexibility and dynamics, Sliding Work Sharing (SWS) — where this balance changes during operation depending on the situation, the machine’s confidence and human interaction — is the most appropriate approach for modern organisations.
