
Dr. Dionysios Koulouris is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Piraeus. He graduated from the Department of Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (ranked 1st in the entrance exams) in 2020 and obtained his PhD from the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus in 2025. He is actively engaged as a researcher in a wide range of research projects. His scientific interests lie in the field of Computational Biomedical Engineering, with applications in intelligent electronic health (eHealth), remote patient monitoring and support, enhancement of patients’ quality of life, the adoption of wearable and mobile health solutions (mHealth), and the development of advanced human–machine interaction methods. He has contributed to 12 research publications, including 3 journal articles and 9 conference papers, and has presented 8 of these works.
