The “Computational Biomedical Laboratory” of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the “Hellenic Society for the Study of Risk Factors in Vascular Diseases” aiming at the implementation of Program: “e-Perseas/Diabetes” (Prospective Evaluation of vascular Risk Surrogates: the Elafonisos Area Study), in the general population of Elafonissos in Lakonia. The aim of the project is to study, with telemedicine applications, the temporal change in cardiovascular risk factors in the population of an island located at a short distance from the mainland.
